Atractomorpha crenulata is one of the grasshopper species that is quite interesting to discuss, both in terms of morphology, habitat, behavior and their ecological role, this grasshopper species belongs to the pyrgomorphidae family and belongs to the orthoptera order, the common name or popular name for the Atractomorpha crenulata grasshopper in Indonesia is "cone grasshopper", the name comes from the shape of the grasshopper's head which is a long cone that protrudes upwards, this main characteristic is of course the difference between Atractomorpha crenulata and other grasshopper species.

Atractomorpha crenulata has a slender body with a dominant green body color, this body color is very functional for Atractomorpha crenulata to camouflage naturally which really helps them to hide among the leaves from predators such as birds and other hunting insects, one of the other interesting characteristics of this species is their ability to change their body color slightly to adapt to their surroundings, this in my opinion is a very important form of adaptation in the world of insects.
