Fungifriday || Two species of beautiful mushrooms grow in the forest behind the house

in FungiFriday • 9 days ago

Good evening everyone ā˜•šŸ„

This my contribution to #fungifriday contest organized by @ewkaw

for this post I just want to show you two different species of mushrooms that I have found in the forest near my house a few days ago, and of course I always hope that the simple post that I share today can help you to get to know the various types of different mushrooms that grow in the far reaches of the world from your sight, even though these mushrooms only have a simple appearance but they still have an extraordinary role and benefits in maintaining the ecosystem.

for the first I want to show you all one of the species of mushrooms that I found growing on a tree that has started to rot, this mushroom has a unique hard texture while its bright color makes this mushroom look elegant and stand out from its surroundings, this mushroom is popularly known as "Trametes cinnabarina".

while the second mushroom has the opposite texture, namely a fragile mushroom cap and stem, a light brown color covers the entire mushroom cap, while the mushroom stem has a pure white color, this mushroom species is popularly known as "Psathyrellaceae" which usually grows on dead and soft wood, from my personal experience I often find this mushroom growing on soft trees such as durian trees, cotton trees and several other types of soft trees.

Thank you very much for visiting my mushroom blog today, see you in the next post with a different mushroom portrait, see you & have a nice day

Good morning, dear friend @lightofhope

How wonderful that you have this beautiful place near your home where you've found these precious species of mushrooms.

Of the two species you found, the "Trametes cinnabarina" are my favorite.

Have a great day.
