Happy Saturday! Today is June 13, 2026, and the weekend is fully underway. Following my beautiful riverside walk in Kingston upon Thames yesterday, I decided to spend my Saturday exploring the spectacular landscapes of Bushy Park. The weather was absolutely perfect for an outdoor adventure bright sunshine, stunning green vistas, and a lively atmosphere that made logging today's movement an absolute joy.
I am incredibly excited to share that my Saturday trek was a massive success, finishing the day with a fantastic total of 11,200 steps!
Pure Consistency Keeping the 31 Day Streak Alive!
Hitting the daily 10k goal is a great feeling, but keeping an unbroken daily rhythm alive is where the real lifestyle transformation happens. Checking my Actifit app dashboard, today's outdoor trek keeping my strong 31 day streak actively moving forward!
Looking at that row of solid green checkmarks running seamlessly from last Sunday all the way through to today (Saturday) is the ultimate reward for a month of dedicated effort. The main home feed is still showcasing the football match interactive banner from yesterday, reminding us all to stay engaged with the global community while we keep tracking our personal fitness miles!
A Magnificent Encounter with the Free Roaming Deer.
The absolute highlight of my journey through Bushy Park today was coming across a beautiful herd of free roaming deer right alongside the walking paths. Escaping the typical pavement routes to interact with local wildlife completely re energizes your routine.
As you can see in my photo, the parkland was alive with nature today. The image captures a large group of gorgeous, spotted fallow deer gathering right where the lush green grass meets a sandy walking trail. Many of the stags proudly displayed their impressive, velvet covered antlers in the bright sunshine. In the background, visitors can be seen leisurely cycling and strolling past mature green trees and quiet waterways under a brilliant summer sky. Pausing to watch these majestic animals move gracefully through their natural habitat makes a long fitness walk feel entirely effortless.
Carrying the Energy Through the Weekend.
Locking in 11,200 steps on a Saturday afternoon gives me an incredible sense of accomplishment as I head into the rest of the weekend. Building this level of consistency has completely reshaped my relationship with fitness, proving that daily movement is simply about stepping outside and embracing the beauty around us.
