Small World in the Yard

In a corner of a simple courtyard, a small child crouched solemnly. His hands held small toy cars, moving them slowly across the dusty ground. The thin lines he drew in the sand became the highways of his imagination. Small stones became mountains, dry leaves transformed into signs, and the yard suddenly became a vast, limitless world.
Behind him, piles of wood and coconut trees stood silently, witnessing the afternoon's play. There was no noise from vehicles, no distracting cell phone screens—only the sound of the wind touching the leaves and the scrape of small wheels on the ground. Simple, yet meaningful.
His face was serious, as if he were directing traffic in a big city. In his silence, he was learning about direction, about distance, about the stories he was building himself. The adult world may seem complicated, but for a child, happiness is all about a plot of land and a small toy.
This photo reminds us that happiness doesn't always come from luxury. Sometimes, it comes in the simplest forms—in the yard, under the shade of a tree, in a quiet but sincere laugh.
Because that's where childhood grows. 🌿
