Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday stayed unseasonably warm (just to clarify, it just means it's in the low 50s F or low teens C, but for February in Michigan, that ain't right!). So before what's left of the snow is gone, we went for our daily walk.

We didn't stay long behind the front yard and went directly to the bigger forest. It's a bit depressing at the entrance.

Kaia tried to follow the trails.

But it led us to this open field where there's more brown than snow now.

She looked as disappointed as I was!

Normally when we have extra time (I had a day off for President's day), we go much deeper in the forest, but many of the trails looked like this, just flooded.

So we went on the other side where snow usually stays longer.

It was too early for the sunset but we still made the small detour for that view we like.

And we quickly went back into the forest for one last loop before walking back home.

With that walk and some more work done at home, that was one of my best step counts in a while. Still doing well in #poprzeczka competition this month. Now let's see if this warmer weather continues, because it's much more fun to walk in snow, and not on flooded trails.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
