Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started strong again with a wake up time super early and a run first thing in the morning. A little longer, almost 8km and a little more elevation gain, and yet the pace was very similar around 5:30 min/km, not too bad. Slowly making progress. And you know I hate mornings, but starting a run with this beautiful sky, that is cool.
Even better to enjoy the actual sunrise during the run, that helps the motivation. Too bad I don't have my phone when I run because it was beautiful. It wasn't as clear after my run and during our breakfast on the balcony. Clouds were taking over and for a minute we were hopeful we'd get some rain.
No rain unfortunately and the temperature rose up very quickly and it was another day above 40C. We all had to suffer through the heat, including Sam. Just like Kaia, he's really no fan of the heat.
At least, since we don't feel like being really active with that heat, that gave us more time to meet more friends and relatives. Silver lining! Not silver lining at all though: I severaly injur4d my finger with the car door. Nails is completely gone and my finger might be broken, but a little more about that in my next report.
