Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday wasn't very active, because the heat was still there, and my injured finger bothered me. So I spent quite some time not doing much, just watching TV and trying to keep my finger elevated and as clean as possible, since the nail was entirely gone. We did start with our usual breakfast on the balcony where I could test handling of cutlery and stuff with a bandaged finger.
And since we didn't do much, I obviously don't have many photos. Except rare cases, I don't like using older photos, so you get Sam's various looks!
In the afternoon, after everybody kept telling me I should get it checked out, I finally decided to go to ER (It'd be so much better if France had urgent care instead of only ER). I felt a bit silly with just my bandage at ER, but the injury worried them enough to order X rays. Unfortunately even though no obvious break were visible, they said they couldn't be sure and put my finger in a small plastic cast. Fun... I was more worried about infection than a broken bone actually, but they simply put another bandage under the cast and let me go. I guess I will have to wait and see how it goes now.
Well, like I said, no real activity. After a visit to urgent care just before leaving for my trip, a trip to ER in France... Luckily I doubt it's anything serious and we'll see how it goes in the next few days.
