¡Hola a todos! Hoy vuelvo a participar en la iniciativa de la comunidad de Splinterlands de Social Media. Hoy tengo unas cuantas cosas que contar, asi que empecemos con la publicación.
After fifteen days of renting my deck to play Modern Ranked, this season has finally come to an end. I will be reviewing my performance in it as well as the rewards I have received.
Después de quince dias de que alquilé mi mazo para jugar Modern Ranked, finalmente ha concluido esta temporada. Estaré repasando mi rendimiento en la misma como también las recompensas que he recibido.
I started this adventure in one of the worst ranks in the game: Bronze. This is because I hadn't played this format for a few months, so I ended up starting practically from scratch.
Despite using cards that I was completely unfamiliar with, I easily managed to get back to at least Silver in a matter of a day, where the rewards are usually worthwhile.
Comencé esta aventura en uno de los peores rangos del juego: Bronce. Esto se debe a que llevaba unos meses sin jugar a este formato, por lo que terminé empezando practicamente desde cero.
A pesar de estar usando cartas que desconocia en su totalidad, logré fácilmente en cuestion de un dia volver por lo menos a Plata, dónde las recompensas suelen ser dignas.
As I mentioned earlier, the rewards I receive for winning in Silver are almost similar to those I received for being in Gold 2-3 in the Wild Ranked format. So there is a big disparity in rewards between these modes.
Luckily, after a winning streak in Silver 1, in the last days of the season I managed to achieve one of my goals: to return to Gold.
Como he comentado anteriormente, las recompensas que recibo por ganar en Plata son casi similares a las que recibia por estar en Oro 2-3 en el formato Wild Ranked. Por lo que hay una gran disparidad de las recompensas entre estos modos.
Por suerte, después de una racha de victorias en Plata 1, en los ultimos dias de temporada he logrado alcanzar uno de mis objetivos: volver a Oro.
The rewards for reaching Gold rank again weren't that great. I only got Merits, potions, and common and rare cards, not even a Gold Foil.
Las recompensas por alcanzar nuevamente el rango de Oro, no fueron la gran cosa. Solo he obtenido Merits, pociones y cartas comunes y raras, ni siquiera una Gold Foil.
On the last day of the season, I tried to reach Gold II, but I was unsuccessful as I was about 100 points short of promotion and out of energy.
This was the result of my season, where I earned a significant amount of GLINT, added to the fact that I started the season so low in the rankings, I managed to earn 25,000 extra GLINT for the season ranking.
En el ultimo dia de temporada, intenté alcanzar Oro II, pero no he tenido éxito ya que me quede a unos 100 puntos de subir y sin energia.
Este fue el resultado de mi temporada, dónde he obtenido una cantidad importante de GLINT, sumado a que al empezar tan bajo de rango la temporada, me he logrado llevar 25.000 GLINT extra por el ranking de la temporada.
Between the season rewards and what I accumulated while playing, I managed to collect a good amount of GLINT: 120,000. I wasn't entirely sure what to spend it on, but I thought it would be a good idea to start upgrading my rare cards.
I started by buying alchemy potions to increase my chances of getting Gold Foil. I bought around 64 potions, as I had a few saved up from reward chests.

Thanks to my Guild buildings, I have obtained a considerable discount on potions.

In the end, I decided to invest my GLINT in 100 rare cards from the Rebellion set. Below, I share a series of screenshots showing the entire opening:

Honestly, there wasn't much to write home about, except for a few Gold Foil cards I got from the Rebellion set. Actually, what I need most right now is to collect several copies of each card so I can keep leveling them up, since most of the ones I have are at level 4 or 5.
I still had 20,000 GLINT left to spend, and the rare cards had already gone up in price because I bought everything in the first batch. So I decided to buy two epic cards to try my luck.
Sinceramente, no hubo demasiado que destacar, salvo algunas Gold Foil que obtuve del set Rebellion. En realidad, lo que más necesito ahora es reunir varias copias de cada carta para seguir subiéndolas de nivel, ya que la mayoría de las que tengo están en nivel 4 o 5.
Aún me restaba gastar 20.000 GLINT y las cartas raras ya habian subido su precio, debido a que compré todo el primer bache. Asi que tome la decisión de comprar dos cartas épicas para probar suerte.
Of all the cards I received, the one that stands out the most is Kha'Zi Conjurer, as it is part of my deck and can be quite useful if I continue to level it up.
