Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Arrancorazones: Attaque 77

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is El Aguante of the latin rap-group Calle 13.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Arrancorazoness of the argentine rock-group Attaque 77.

As I have mentioned on several occasions, my favorite music genre of all time is rock. I grew up with a lot of rock influence during my early years of life. My mother used to listen to Argentine national rock songs by Charly Garcia, Virus, Los Abuelos de la Nada and many more artists. Then I started playing games like Guitar Hero 3, where I got to know a lot of good international rock songs like Barracuda and Slow Ride.

But my first serious approach to these songs was when I downloaded Spotify for the first time, in its first years of popularity, when it started to become a phenomenon. I was reviewing the most famous playlist in Argentina and it was a national rock playlist. In that playlist I knew rock bands like Intoxicados, Los Piojos and Attaque 77. I remember that one of the songs I liked the most was Arrancacacorazones, which I listened to all the time for a whole year.

A few days ago, I listened to it again when I left Spotify running for quite some time, which brought me a lot of nostalgia.

Attaque 77 is an Argentine punk rock band formed in 1987 in Buenos Aires. It was formed by vocalist Ciro Pertusi, guitarist Mariano Martinez, bassist Luciano Scaglione and drummer Leo De Cecco. The band's first album did not lead them to success, but they had to wait for their second album to achieve their first hit: Hacelo por mi.

Arrancacacorazones is part of the album Antihumano released in 2003. It has 92,000,000 plays on the Youtube platform and 122,000,000 on Spotify. It is the group's most famous song, narrowly followed by Hacelo por mi (55,000,000 plays).
