Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Three Cigarettes in an Ashtray

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is This Life of the artist Curtis Stigers and the band The Forest Rangers

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Three Cigarettes in an Ashtray of the artist Patsy Cline

I have often talked about the musical influence that games have had on my musical taste. Thanks to them, I have been able to discover a lot of music that I would never have discovered otherwise.

In today's case, the song Three Cigarettes in an Ashtray I have come across thanks to one of my favorite video games of all time: Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. This game has a large amount of soundtracks with music that was played in the 90's, where the game takes place.

All the stations in the game have great songs, but my favorite is K-Rose, a station that broadcasts Country classics from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. It was always automatically activated when you got into a car in any rural area, which brought an incredible immersion.

Thanks to K-Rose I have discovered fourteen songs of the country genre, of which I have ended up adding all of them to my Spotify playlist. My favorites among them: The Letter, Queen of Hearts, Amos Moses, New York City, Crazy and Three Cigarettes in an Ashtray.

Patsy Cline was born in 1932 and became one of the most legendary singers of the Country genre. She fused styles such as country, pop and gospel, becoming one of the first and most famous female artists of those genres. She was the first woman to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Three Cigarettes in an Ashtray is a song released in 1957 and became one of Patsy Cline's most successful songs. Although it had a significant impact at the time, it reached a new wave of popularity after being included in the soundtrack of the iconic video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which allowed new generations to discover her music.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
