In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is Aún Estas en Mis Sueños of the argentine group Rata Blanca
Sh Boom: The Chords
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Sh Boom of the group The Chords
My choice today does not come from the influence of video games or recommendations from friends. In this case, I have known this song thanks to one of the movies that has been part of my childhood: Cars. When I was very young, I didn't use to watch so many children's movies, but there was one that I loved a lot and it was Cars.
About three years ago, I was with a subscription on the Disney platform and I happened to see the first movie of the saga. Despite being childish, it turned out to be quite entertaining with “adult” references like any Pixar movie. One of the things I like the most about the movie are the songs that accompany it:
We can start by talking about the intro song, “Real Gone” by Sheryl Crow, which fits perfectly with the scene of the first race and conveys all the energy and adrenaline of the moment. Also worth mentioning is “Life is a Highway”, which plays just as Lightning McQueen's transport begins its journey across the country, which goes hand in hand with the ride. Another song of note is the iconic “Route 66”, a classic of American culture, which appears in the film during the journey along the town's route.
I missed talking about one more song: “Sh Boom” by The Chords. This song appears in one of the best scenes in the movie, when Lightning McQueen lights up the town of Radiator Springs. The illuminated signs start to light up and this song plays in the background and it's just beautiful,
The Chords is an American group of the doo-wop genre, a kind of blues with rock and roll. The group's biggest hit was Sh Boom, released in 1954 and considered one of the first great hits of Rock and Roll. The band's legacy still continues, thanks to the influence of the movie Cars, which it decided to use for its soundtrack.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
