Seit kurzem werden mir in der Ecency App statt Bilder ein Platzhalter angezeigt und man kann diese sich dann durch anklicken anzeigen lassen.
Bisher war es bei mir so, das in den Feeds keine Bilder angezeigt wurden, sondern erst in den Posts.
Fan ich sehr übersichtlich. Und man wurde nicht von Bildern abgelenkt, sondern konnte sich die Überschrift und kurze Einleitung durchlesen.
Jetzt habe ich sowohl in den Feeds als auch Posts den Platzhalter. Wenn im Post viele Bilder sind. Muss ich scheinbar alle einzeln anklicken.
Ich kann mir vorstellen, das dies zum sparen von Daten gedacht ist sowohl auf Seiten der Nutzer als auch beim Imageserver.
Aber schön wäre es wenn man das im Feed gänzlich deaktivieren könnte und für Beiteäge dann zumindest eine "show all" funtion hätte.
Oder stimmt etwa nur bei mir was?
@ecency i don't want imagepreview in my feeds, only in posts/comments. How can i disable it for feeds also waves feed?

In settings, you can toggle Show images if you want to see them. We improved that logic to properly work everywhere to minimize data usage which is crucial in some countries where data limit exist.
I want to see the images, but only in the posts.
Not in the feed—I don't want them there, and I don't want a placeholder there either.
Before, I only had the headline and some text, so I could see a lot more posts at once without having to scroll. Now, depending on the image size, I pretty much only see the placeholder.
I see, yes unfortunately we used to show images in posts and not in feed but that logic was not entirely working correctly so we improved overall logic to hide everywhere when hidden, including posts. We used to hide avatars also but we now showing avatars always because it is better UI for very small images.
Now the UI is for me very bad
