Sunny hot August day in mountains often comes with a probability of an afternoon rain. We had known it could rain but hoped to avoid it. We almost did, but a thunderstorm caught us just 5km before the trail end.
We were safe from the thunders but got wet. No big deal. But since I hiked in shorts, water from my poncho followed my calves and soaked into my boots. Hope to get dry overnight.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed the hike in Bieszczady Mts in SE Poland. Another hiking day tomorrow.
