Living our lives to please God cannot be done in qny other way than by following the commandments of God. There is no other precepts given to us by anyone or from anywhere which is capable of guiding us in the right way to live and please God. One cannot look for God outside His words. Everything that we need to know about good can only be seen in the Word of God. The Word of God alone is the only guarantee for a successful life that is pleasing to God. Whether we are youths or whether we are adults, obedience to God alone can make us pleasing to God. Let us understand this that there is no other way of pleasing God without following His Word.
The commandments of God was given to the people of the Old Testament through Moses in the laws. In our dispensation, we have the doctrines of Jesus Christ to follow. The teaching of Jesus Christ is what we should be following in the New Testament. As the disciples of Jesus Christ, let us follow the doctrines of Jesus Christ which is given to us in the teaching of the apostles to the church.
So, as a young person, it will be wise for us to take heed to the commandments of God. Follow the teaching and doctrines of the church. Honour God in your entire life and in your body which is the temple of God. Everything that we can ever do to become approve of God must be done in accordance to the word of God.
