What is the image of God that you think you have? Is it your facial expressions or your body shape? I don't think so. I thank that God is love as the Bible says. So, I have the image of love. What does love look like? Love cares for others. So, if we have the image of God which is love, we should care for others. We should preach the love of Christ and extend our loving and caring hands to others. Through love we should help those who are in need. We should support those who are not strong. We should feed those who are hungry. That is how to express the image of God.
The image of God is also in holiness and righteousness. God is a holy God. He is not a sinful God. Our God loves holiness. He loves righteousness. He hates sin. So, being in His nature, we should uphold the tenets of righteousness. We should be upright and holy in all things. Deception should not be named among us. A holy person won't be a liar. He won't be a deceiver. He won't be fraudulent. Someone who is holy will run away from immortality. Let us therefore live in holiness. Let us follow God in truthfulness and righteousness.
Now, the kind of life a person lives will reflect whose nature that he or she carries. The devil has his own children too. The Lord Jesus Christ said this. He said that those who lie are living the nature of their father, the devil. These devil’s children do not possess the image of God. They are possessing the image of the devil.
