Let us keep close to God. Let us follow Him. He is calling on us to follow Him, let us follow Him. Let us keep His commandments. Let us trust Him with everything that concerns us. Let us do the things that He commands us to do. Let us run away from everything which He is asking us to avoid. Let us be obedient to all His laws. Let us not allow God to be far from us.
Being far from God might mean something very unpleasant. Those who are far from God shall be separated from him in eternity. We must ensure that we are connected to God now so that we will reign with Him in His kingdom. Those who are far from him on earth shall be separated from him when he returns.
God is not far from us himself. He loves us. He has always loved us. We are those who are far from him. We have taken a route that is very far from God. We must repent from our evil ways and return to God. We must become his people so that He will be our God. Sin is what separates us from God. He is our God and our Creator. He loves us and we love Him.
2 Corinthians 6:16-18 (KJV) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
