Pero la vida sigue, los días siguen pasando y Dios y ella misma me han dado mucha fortaleza, ¡porque ahora ella me mira y cuida desde el cielo! Y en esos días que siguen pasando llegó uno muy especial para mí desde hace casi 12 años, y es el cumpleaños número 42 de mi esposo. ❤️❤️

Él no era de celebrar este día, hasta que me conoció, y desde entonces JAMÁS se ha quedado sin soplar su velita. Este año no sería la excepción, porque a pesar de que mi corazón está triste, yo amo hacer feliz a los míos, y tener detalles con ellos es lo que más amo. Así que para este día, aunque el bolsillo no estaba tan fuerte, jeje, le compré algo que necesitaba hace rato: una nueva cartera, ¡pero no cualquier cartera, ¿ok?! Esta es personalizada. 🥰 A mí me encantó, al igual que a él.
He wasn't big on celebrating this day until he met me, and ever since then he has NEVER gone without blowing out his candle. This year wouldn't be the exception, because even though my heart is heavy, I love making my loved ones happy, and thoughtful gestures are what I love most. So for this day, even though our budget wasn't that strong, hehe, I bought him something he had needed for a while: a new wallet, but not just any wallet, okay? This one is customized. 🥰 I loved it, and so did he.
Y por supuesto la torta no faltó, le hice una deliciosa marmoleada que además quedó DIVINA y muy esponjosa.
And of course, the cake was a must! I made him a delicious marble cake that turned out DIVINE and super fluffy.
Para la decoración de la torta utilicé merengue italiano y chispas de chocolate. ¡Ignoren la mega decoración! 😂 ¡Ya saben que eso aún no lo domino! ¡Pero ahí vamos! Al final me gustó el resultado, y el bizcocho ni les cuento: divino.
For the cake decoration, I used Italian meringue and chocolate chips. Ignore the "mega" decoration! 😂 You already know I haven't mastered that yet! But we're getting there! In the end, I liked the result, and as for the sponge cake, it was simply divine.
