Esta es una de esas plazas que, al visitarla, a mi abuelo le trae gratos recuerdos. Comenta que antes de ser un espacio recreativo había un gran galpón donde se compraban los productos frescos; era uno de los más grandes de la ciudad y la mayoría de las personas comenzaban la semana en este lugar adquiriendo los productos que precisaban.
This is one of those plazas that brings back fond memories for my grandfather. He says that before it became a recreational space, there was a large warehouse where fresh produce was bought; it was one of the largest in the city, and most people started their week there, buying the products they needed.

Veo este bello lugar y, con la gran presencia de la naturaleza, me cuesta creer que antes aquí había un enorme edificio de cemento. Cuando Luis tenía mi edad, venía con su abuelo para hacer las compras y, al concluir, se sentaban en unas mesas para almorzar exquisitas empanadas; después del almuerzo, abordaban el taxi en el costado del edificio que los regresaba a su casa.
I see this beautiful place and, with the overwhelming presence of nature, it's hard to believe that there used to be a huge cement building here. When Luis was my age, he used to come here with his grandfather to do the shopping, and afterward, they would sit at some tables to eat delicious empanadas. After lunch, they would take a taxi from the side of the building that would take them back home.

Muchos años después, comenzaron a hacer la plaza, y mi abuelo con mucha tristeza vio cómo derrumbaban el viejo edificio que tantos recuerdos les traían, pero jamás imaginó que construirían este precioso lugar para que las familias correntinas disfruten de este espacio.
Many years later, they began to build the plaza, and my grandfather sadly watched as they demolished the old building that held so many memories for them, but he never imagined that They would build this beautiful place for the families of Corrientes to enjoy.

Por muchos años, Luis trabajó en un supermercado frente a esta plaza, y vio cómo con el correr de los años esta plaza se convirtió en una mini reserva. Recuerda que las plantas eran pequeñas, y no pensaba que crecerían tanto. Por estas historias que comenta mi abuelo es que me apasiona visitar este lugar, para que mi abuela haga las fotografías con su ¨telefono¨-¨ móvil¨:
