On the streets of my city, we came across a mushroom we hadn't seen in a long time[Esp/Eng].

Qué genial que nos volvamos a encontrar en esta hermosa ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨:  Lo bueno de estar pasando por una etapa lluviosa aquí en la ciudad donde vivimos es que, sin importar dónde vayamos, damos con hermosos ejemplares de hongos.

How great that we're meeting again in this beautiful "FungiFridayCommunity": The good thing about going through a rainy season here in the city where we live is that, no matter where we go, we find beautiful specimens of mushrooms.

El primer hongo que les voy a enseñar lo hallamos en el microcentro de la ciudad. Este¨genero¨:   de hongos tiene una particularidad, al menos aquí, ya que las veces que dimos con ellos, lo hicimos sobre la superficie de un tronco de palmera; honestamente, no sabría decir si es mera casualidad, o es un tipo de hongo que crece en la madera de este tipo de árbol.

The first mushroom I'm going to show you was found in the city center. This genus of mushroom has a particularity, at least here, since the times we found them, it was on the surface of a palm tree trunk; honestly, I couldn't say if it's mere coincidence, or if it's a type of mushroom that grows on the wood of this type of tree.

Otro ¨genero¨ : muy llamativo que hallamos mientras caminábamos por las calles céntricas han sido estos a los que yo llamo "hongos negros". Seguramente algunos de ustedes conocen a qué tipo de especie pertenecen; si es así, házmelo saber en los comentarios, dado que últimamente los estamos encontrando seguidos, y las veces que lo hacemos, lo hallamos sobre el tronco de un árbol al que llamamos "fresno".

Another very striking "genus" :we found while walking through the city center were these, which I call "black mushrooms." Surely some of you know what species they belong to; if so, let me know in the comments, since we've been finding them frequently lately, and whenever we do, we find them on the trunk of a tree we call an "ash tree."

Esta ¨especie¨:  de hongos pasó de ser de esos que los veíamos esporádicamente a aquellos que encontramos unas tres veces al mes; creo que todo esto tiene que ver con la gran cantidad de lluvias que hemos estado teniendo, o quizás justo estemos en su temporada.

This species of mushrooms went from being one we saw sporadically to one we find about three times a month; I think this has to do with the large amount of rain we've been having, or perhaps we're just in its season.

Siempre hablamos con mis abuelos de la genial idea que hemos tenido de comenzar a buscar hongos en las calles de nuestra ciudad, ya que cada vez damos con más especies. En esta ocasión dimos con un tipo de hongos que hace tiempo no los veíamos, y gracias al ¨teléfono¨ : ¨Movil¨ de mi abuela pudimos fotografiarlos.

We always talk with my grandparents about the brilliant idea we had of starting to look for mushrooms in the streets of our city, since we keep finding more and more species. This time we found a type of mushroom that we hadn't seen in a long time, and thanks to my grandmother's "phone":"mobile" we were able to photograph them.
