Las veces que vamos a la reserva, vengo sorprendida de cómo las plantas, pero en especial las "flores" silvestres, se adaptan a pesar de estar fuera de temporada. Les vengo comentando que en mi ciudad estamos en otoño, y a pesar de estar haciendo mucho frío, las flores en la pradera aún se conservan muy bien.
Whenever we go to the reserve, I'm always surprised by how the plants, especially the wildflowers, adapt despite being out of season. I've mentioned that it's autumn in my city, and despite the cold weather, the wildflowers in the meadow are still thriving.
A diferencia de lo que normalmente hacemos, en esta visita mi abuela tuvo la idea de visitar el vivero; allí hay invernaderos creados para que las plantas no sufran mucho las temperaturas. Este es un lugar hermoso con muchos tipos de plantas para apreciar.
Unlike what we usually do, on this visit my grandmother had the idea of visiting the plant nursery; there are greenhouses there designed to protect the plants from the extreme temperatures. This is a beautiful place with many types of plants to admire.
Una de las variedades que se adaptan muy bien en el invernadero son las plantas de cactus; como ven, a pesar de las bajas temperaturas, las plantas lucen realmente muy bien. Estas son de esas plantas que mi abuelo quiere tener; desde siempre ha querido hacer un jardín solo con cactus y suculentas.
One of the varieties that adapt very well to the greenhouse are cactus plants; as you can see, despite the low temperatures, the plants look really good. These are the kind of plants my grandfather wants to have; he's always wanted to create a garden just with cacti and succulents.

She's had the idea of creating this space for several years; let's hope things improve and she can finally make it happen. It's sure to be beautiful; she has some ideas and wants to have many different species, so this corner will be gorgeous. These photos were taken by my grandmother with her mobile phone.
