Tal como les vengo comentando hace varias semanas, estamos visitando el centro de la ciudad por los compromisos médicos que tiene mi abuelo; eso es realmente bueno, dado que con mi abuela aprovechamos, mientras Luis está ocupado, para hacer las fotografías para mis posts.
As I've been mentioning for several weeks now, we're visiting the city center because of my grandfather's medical appointments; that's actually great, since my grandmother and I take advantage of the time while Luis is busy to take photos for my posts.

En una de esas visitas tuvimos que visitar una zona de la ciudad donde están la mayoría de los museos, y como mi abuelo estaba tardando en regresar, con Gaby decidimos ingresar al interior de este museo para ver las exposiciones que estaban haciendo.
On one of those visits, we had to visit an area of the city where most of the museums are located, and since my grandfather was taking a long time to return, Gaby and I decided to go inside this museum to see the exhibits they were putting on.

Sin saberlo, estábamos presenciando una actividad que se lleva a cabo todos los años para estas fechas; los museos de la ciudad están participando de un movimiento anual para promocionar el arte y a los artistas. Nos sorprendió ver cuántas obras había en exposición.
Unbeknownst to us, we were witnessing an activity that takes place every year around this time; the city's museums are participating in an annual movement to promote art and artists. We were surprised to see how many works were on display.

Siempre digo que la creatividad no tiene límite, por eso con mi abuela estuvimos sorprendidas con la obra que ha presentado esta artista; se trata de una obra creada con ingenio, ya que se trata de una exposición creada con materiales cotidianos tirados en la basura, es decir, todo lo que uno desperdicia, esta mujer crea sus ingeniosas obras.
I always say that creativity has no limits, which is why my grandmother and I were surprised by the work this artist presented. It's a work created with ingenuity, since it's an exhibition made with everyday materials thrown in the trash—that is, everything that one throws away, this woman creates her ingenious works.
