My sister's son called today while we were fishing. She had him on face time when a pompano got on one of the rods. There is a lot going on in our little boat when a fish gets hooked. We have 6 rods and a big cooler to climb over, the fish wants to go around the boat. When we see which direction it is going, I grab the rod out of the next rod holder so my sister can fight the fish without getting in one of the other lines. Then the fish goes toward the next pole's line, and I have to get it out of the way. It will go like that all the way around the boat.
Her son was laughing so hard at us. What he said is my inspiration for this post. He said we should put videos of us fishing on YouTube. Joking, I said what are we going to call it? Two old ladies in a boat?
We had a good day, we caught 19 pompano that weighed 42 pounds, my husband had 19, but his weighed 41 pounds. I am tired and have things to do. Have a good night.
