This morning, my sister called and asked if I wanted to go to Walmart and Dollar Tree with her. I did, and at the Dollar store, I bought eight flower pots that I can use to make bonsai desert roses with.
On our way to Walmart, we saw a yard sale sign, it was on the avenue behind the Roseland Church, and of course, we had to go to it. We had never seen a yard sale like this one. Two men were running it, and everything was free. I did not know if we could use this engine mount thing, but I did know we could sell it for scrap, so I got it.
Have you priced nails lately? The can has aluminum roofing nails. I am not sure what to use them for, but I am sure I will find something.
This is a bag of cabinet handles, there has to be at least thirty of them in the bag. When we have our yard sale, I can sell them for fifty cents each.
I did not dump this bag out to know what all is in it, but I saw several hinges and hasps.
This box has eight boat trailer lights and enough wire with the plugs on them that we should never need to buy any ever again. Some of the lights are magnetic.
I asked the men three times if they were sure they did not want any money for the things I got. They told me they did not want money and for me to pay it forward. That I can do and have done many times.
At home, I got the pineapples that are in the ground uncovered, and some of the plants out of my husband's shed. We are to have a week of warm weather, it was nice to see seventy degrees today. I hope the cold is over, but I know better to hope that. February has always been our coldest month, and this year it has shown that it is the coldest month.
