Hello my beloved friends in the hive community/ spendhbd family, it's your girl again@nemzy coming your way all the way from Uyo capital city of Akwa Ibom State Nigeria. Happy month of June to everyone. I trust that this month of June comes with loads of benefits for us all.
Friday 30th May happened to be our Uyo 1st hive meetup live at Dr's Mess here in Udo Udomah avenue Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Nigeria. It was really an exciting outing and very enlightening too. We arrived the venue (Dr's Mess) and met three other hivers and one prospect invitee.
I personally invited about 3persons for that hive meetup but they couldn't make it for one reason or the other. Hopefully I will still follow up on them to let them know the benefits of being on this amazing business of spendhbd.
An opportunity where one shops and earns Cashback of 20-40% of what he buys and pays with Hbd is an opportunity everyone should embrace and never let go. In fact when my friend @ogechukwu-martha told me about the platform sometime in February this year, then I'd no android phone and even my son's phone couldn't support the hive Blockchain, I was very anxious to get a phone that would enable me join this all beneficial business opportunity.
Immediately I was blessed with a phone sometime around ending of March, precisely 27th two days before my birthday, I wasted no time to get registered on the hive Blockchain and today gradually I'm liking the Blockchain especially the spendhbd project like kilode(what's happening in Yoruba language)😄
To this course I won't relent in making people as much as I can to join me in this spendhbd project.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEETUP
Our amazing leader@ijelady opened the floor by encouraging us to take the spendhbd/ hive Blockchain web 3 platform very seriously by engaging on people's post, commenting and also voting on a daily basis to build our visibility the more.
She also stressed the need for us to carefully follow the rules and guidelines of every community on the hive Blockchain so as not to be found wanting by violating any.
@oasiskp2 spoke on how one can make a good post, selecting a captivating topic to attract readers from the community, not writing things that doesn't catch people's attention to even read let alone voting.
@chydolar1 spoke elaborately on how to participate in contest on the Blockchain like the ladies of hive that comes up every Saturday, the we are alive and thriving, the liketu etc etc. She also stressed on giving credit to the appropriate source on any picture taken from the internet when writing any post so as not to practice plagiarism and also avoiding posting same post and pictures on different communities.

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION
The meetup was so so enlightening and very entertaining too. We had a treat with suya courtesy of @oasiskp2. God bless his benevolent heart. There's no doubt that subsequent meetups will even be more more successful than this first one.
