We saw a green carpet snake climbing up a tree in the local nature reserve. I think it must have been looking for bird nests and a few eggs as there were a few birds making a racket and trying to swoop it.

It was hard to tell how big it was because it was coiled up at different stages. Maybe 2 metres from head to tail but pretty skinny, so it could have been young.

The water dragon lizard was looking pretty impressed as well.
