My Actifit Report Card: March 6 2026

A couple of bollards from near the centre of Geelong. There are over 100 of these spread around this area. They were old timbers from the city pier cleverly turned into works of art and have been a popular tourist attraction since they first started popping up in the 1980s.

That is a neat way to recycle old stuff.

I think I could have happily wandered around all day checking them all out. Many small towns in Australia have set themes and sculptures around tourist trails which are fun to explore.

That would make walking those trails much more interesting. Thanks for sharing.
