This one is about Brock, who becomes a top executive at a record label. But he'll have to make some tough decisions once he's there. You'll see what he does and doesn't do. Even as a child, Brock's ability to choose good music was remarkable. He would listen to all the records his parents had bought for their house, featuring various artists. After listening to them all, he would tell his parents which ones he liked best and which ones were bad and not worth buying. They were very surprised because, indeed, the ones he chose were very good. He was already demonstrating that he had a good ear, and this would help him a lot later on. His parents thought he would be a singer when he grew up, but what a surprise they were in for! In reality, he didn't like to sing; he liked choosing music and seeing who was the best.

When he grew up and became an adult, he looked for work in some music studios, offering himself as a music consultant. Because he was talented, he was given several entry-level positions that later became more responsible. His first jobs consisted of simply recommending ways to improve the songs of the singers who came to the studio. In these positions, he shone, and his opinion was increasingly valued. He eventually became the head of several of those studios. But his reputation as a good consultant was spreading rapidly. And more opportunities would soon follow.

They informed the board of directors about Brock's gifts and his exceptional talent for selecting artists. The board was quite surprised, as they couldn't understand why such a talented man was in such a low-level position. So, they promoted him to a position on the board. His job would be to select top singers for the label—singers who could generate revenue. This was his first major promotion. In this role, he truly shone, selecting talented singers before the label made significant investments in them. This only further elevated his standing within the company.

In a short time, he became the company's vice president, the highest position after the CEO. The entire label trusted his talent and had been given increasing freedom to choose singers without having to present them to the label first. In this role, he continued to demonstrate his exceptional talent. It was success upon success for the record company. The board couldn't just keep him in that position; they needed to give him complete control of the company. They wanted the best in the best position. So they made him CEO. Brock was literally at the peak of his career.

So, what he had done for so long was now under considerable pressure. He trusted that his talent and skill would always allow him to persevere and do things right. But one day, something happened that tested his resolve. There was a singer with exceptional talent, according to his ear. He knew from experience that this voice, with proper guidance and support, would go far. But the assistant directors and the vice president disagreed. So, they contradicted him in front of the board of directors.

Furthermore, the singer wanted a substantial sum to finance his projects and begin making music. This decision was critical because failure would reflect poorly on him in front of the executives. That could lead to his demotion, the loss of trust from those who had appointed him, and could cause the record label to lose money. The stakes were high, and he knew it. But on the other hand, his good ear told him that this singer should be helped by them, and he could almost see the profits for both of them.

Pero su puesto comenzó a exigir cada vez más responsabilidad. The results of his first songs were poor, so many told him he had made a mistake and should have listened to their suggestions. But he wouldn't let them change his mind about that person. With some of the big names against him, he continued to finance the singer. The risk increased. But in the end, the singer proved them all wrong, becoming a huge success, just as Brock knew he would. After that, he is even more respected because his good ear didn't fail him. And now, more than ever, he is determined not to be guided by advisors; he prefers to put into practice what he knows and has proven. Success will continue.
