You'll see how he tries to convey his message about a way of life he believes is better. I hope you enjoy it; let's begin.

Buenas noches para ti que me lees querido amigo, y claro para todos acá en hive. Estoy de regreso por acá para compartir con ustedes mi nueva historia. Esta de hoy es sobre un personaje muy interesante llamado Leaf. Verán como intenta transmitir su mensaje sobre una forma de vida que el cree que es mejor. Espero que les guste, comenzamos.

Peace and love—those are the words Leaf uses in every situation, whether easy or difficult. He's long been a special kind of hippie because he practices what he preaches; it's not just an empty phrase said to sound cool. He believes in this philosophy, and no one can change his mind. And every time he overcomes an obstacle thanks to it, he becomes even more convinced. For example, he's often avoided getting into trouble or escalating arguments because he prioritizes peace. When something is already done and has no solution, why start a fight?

Also, when others have treated him badly, he's repaid them with kindness, and sooner or later, those same people come back and apologize. And even if they don't return, he feels satisfied because he repaid them with love and kindness, and that's enough. Leaf works as a social worker. He helps vulnerable people by providing them with assistance when they need it or offering emotional support when they can't take it anymore. Because of his charisma and commitment, he is highly valued in all charitable agencies; they know he does things out of love and have already recognized his dedication with several awards.

Paz y amor, esas son las palabras que Leaf usa ante cualquier situación, sea fácil o difícil. Él desde hace mucho es un tipo especial de Hippie, porque practica lo que dice al pie de la letra, no es solo una frase vacía que solo se dice para parecer cool. El cree en esa filosofía y nadie puede hacerle cambiar de opinión. Y cada vez que consigue librarse de un obstáculo gracias ella más se refuerza. Por ejemplo muchas veces se ha librado de meterse en problemas con personas o escalar una discusión porque aplica la paz primero. Cuando algo ya está hecho y no tiene solución para que iniciar una disputa.

También cuando le han tratado mal otras personas él ha pagado con bien, y tarde o temprano esas mismas personas regresan y se disculpan con él. Y en el caso de que no regresen él se siente satisfecho porque pagó con amor y bien, y eso es suficiente. Leaf se dedica a ser trabajador social. Se encarga de ayudar a personas vulnerables llevándoles ayuda cuando la necesitan, o ofreciéndoles ayuda emocional cuando ya no pueden más. Por su carisma y compromiso el es muy valorado en todas las agencias benéficas, saben que hace las cosas por amor y ya han reconocido su dedicación con varios premios.

On his days off, he spends time with his friends in parks. His friends share his same philosophy of life: peace and love for everyone, and no looking for trouble—just live each day happily and doing what you love. Because they all think alike, they are very close. They often talk amongst themselves about how happy the world would be and how many problems would be avoided if more people thought the same way. They all draw their own conclusions and end up saying how wonderful it would be. This topic is a recurring one for them, but this time it was different.

Leaf, as a social worker, had an idea that he mentioned to them on one of these occasions. He suggested that perhaps they could try sharing their philosophy of life with others, and not just sharing it. His friends loved this idea, as it was what they wanted too. But as soon as this idea came up, they were all filled with doubts and questions. In particular, they wondered how they could share the message with others without seeming crazy. While they were debating, Leaf listened to the music on his phone. Music, that's it, that's how he put it. His friends were confused; they didn't understand what he meant.

He explained that the best way to share his life's message with others was through music. Music is one of the most powerful things there is, and it always reaches the heart if it has the right message, and his message was the ideal one. Everyone was delighted with the idea. But none of them had any musical knowledge, nor did they know how to play any instruments. But once again, Leaf took the initiative and motivated them to learn; he would learn to sing himself.

En sus días libre lo que hace es reunirse en parques con sus amigos. Sus amigos comparten su misma filosofía de la vida, paz y amor para todos y nada de buscar problemas, solo vive cada día feliz y haciendo lo que te gusta. Como todos piensan igual están muy unidos. A menudo se ponen a comentar entre ellos lo feliz que fuera el mundo y cuantos problemas se evitarían si más personas pensaran igual. Todos sacan sus conclusiones y terminan diciendo que sería maravilloso. Este tema es recurrente en ellos, pero esta vez fue diferente.

Leaf como trabajador social tuvo una que les mencionó en una de estas ocasiones. Les mencionó que quizás podrían intentar compartir su filosofía de la vida con los demás y no solo compartirla. Esa idea les encantó a sus amigos, pues era lo que deseaban también. Pero tan pronto como surgió esa idea todos se llenaron de dudas y preguntas. En especial se preguntaban cómo se podría compartir el mensaje con los demás sin parecer unos locos. Mientras a ellos debatían Leaf escuchó la música que tenía en su teléfono. Música, eso es, así fue como lo dijo el. Sus amigos se confundieron no entendían que quería decir.

El explicó que la mejor manera de compartir el mensaje de su vida con los demás era hacerlo mediante la música. La música es una de las cosas más poderosas que hay, y siempre llega al corazón si tiene el mensaje correcto y su mensaje era el ideal. Todos quedaron encantados con la idea. Pero ningúno tenía conocimientos de música, ni sabían tocar instrumentos. Pero una vez más Leaf tomó la iniciativa y los motivó a aprender, el mismo aprendería canto.

And that's how something that had only existed in their imagination began to materialize. With Leaf's connections, they were able to hire instrumentalists and music teachers to teach them to play and sing. And so it happened; they also continued learning on their own. It took time to learn, but the day came when they were ready. Their music wasn't perfect, obviously, but it fulfilled their purpose. Now all that was left was to buy a minivan to begin their tours through cities and towns.

They bought one and painted it with beautiful colors that conveyed peace and love. From there, they began touring throughout the state. Thousands of people stopped in streets and rural towns to listen to them sing. The best part was that many people understood the message they wanted to convey; they realized that their lives would be better this way. This made Leaf and their band very happy. They were achieving what they hadn't been able to in their previous jobs: helping people, all thanks to music. But there is still a long way to go; they also plan to release songs online and continue helping as many as they can. The best thing is that there is a lot of peace and love.

Y así fue como algo que solo estaba en su imaginación comenzó a materializarse. Con los contactos que tenía Leaf pudieron contratar a maestros de instrumentos y maestros de música para que le enseñaran a tocar y cantar. Y así sucedió, además ellos de forma autodidacta fueron aprendiendo cosa por su cuenta. Les tomó su tiempo aprender pero llegó el día en que estaban listos, su música no era obviamente perfecta pero cumplía con lo que ellos querían. Ahora solo faltaba comprar la minivan para iniciar sus recorridos por ciudades y pueblos.

Compraron una y la pintaron con bonitos colores que transmitieran paz y mucho amor. A partir de ahí iniciaron giras por todo el estado. Miles de personas se paraban en calles y pueblos rurales para escucharlos cantar. Lo mejor es que muchas personas entendieron el mensaje que querían transmitir, se dieron cuenta que así su vida sería mejor. Esto hacía muy feliz a Leaf y su banda, estaban logrando lo que no habían conseguido en sus trabajos anteriores ayudando personas, y todo gracias a la música. Pero aún falta mucho camino por recorrer, piensan también lanzar canciones por internet y seguir ayudando a tantos como puedan, lo mejor es que hay mucha paz y amor.
