Dido es una cantante británica que me gustó demasiado la primera vez que la escuché. La conocí gracias a mi hermano, quien me sugirió que la oyera con su segundo disco titulado No Angel. Desde el 99 fue que la empecé a escuchar, no sabía que tenía un disco antes de este, así que para mí fue el primero.
𝙴𝚗𝚕𝚐𝚒𝚜𝚑
Dido is a British singer. I absolutely loved the first time I heard her. I discovered her thanks to my brother, who suggested I listen to her second album, No Angel. I started listening to her in '99; I didn't know she had an album before this one, so for me, it was the first.

Actualmente tiene 54 años. Recuerdo que cuando la escuché por primera vez ella me llevaba unos 16 años de diferencia, lo que significa que yo tenía unos 12 años cuando ella tenía unos 28. Y no importa la edad que tenga esta mujer, se conserva en una juventud eterna, eso para mí es admirable.

Y no sólo se ve joven, sino que ha mantenido su estilo inigualable desde que se catapultó a nivel internacional con su segundo álbum. Ella toca música suave, con letras profundas y un género musical que rota entre los tipos de Electropop, Downtempo, Trip hop y Folktrónica. Este último género se ha vuelto mi favorito.
And not only does she look young, but she's maintained her unique style since her international breakthrough with her second album. She plays smooth music with profound lyrics, a genre that shifts between electropop, downtempo, trip-hop, and folktronica. The latter has become my favorite.
Y como ya les comenté al inicio, tengo muchas canciones favoritas de ella, por eso me costó un poco elegir las 3 que más me gustan de esta fabulosa cantante. Empezaré por la que "menos me gusta" a mi súper favorita de todas.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I have many favorite songs of hers, so it was a little difficult to choose my top three from this fabulous singer. I'll start with the one I "like the least" and work my way up to my absolute favorite.
Hell After This
Hell After This es una canción perteneciente a su álbum Still on My Mind. Desde que la escuché me fue como si me hubiera hipnotizado y luego de leer la letra de su canción me gustó aún más.

End of Night
End of the Night me gustó tanto por su videoclip como por la letra de la canción y ni hablar de su ritmo contagioso estilo Tecnopop. Quedé encantada con esta canción a nivel general, para mí es un 10 de 10.
I loved "End of the Night" so much for its music video, the lyrics, and its catchy technopop rhythm. I was completely captivated by the song overall; for me, it's a 10 out of 10.
Hurricanes
Finalizo con Hurricanes. Mi favorita de favoritas por mucho, está de primer lugar en mi lista desde que la escuché por allá en el año 2019, en su último disco.
I'll finish with Hurricanes. My absolute favorite, it's been number one on my list since I first heard it back in 2019, on their last album.
Dido para mi es y será un ícono musical sin importar cuántos años pasen. Ella es toda una estrella y su música es única, así como también está a otro nivel, es por eso que me gustan tanto sus canciones en general.
Dido is and always will be a musical icon for me, no matter how many years pass. She's a true star, and her music is unique and on another level, which is why I love her songs so much.
