Sometimes you need something to power up your battle frogs in a particularly difficult fight.
GEMS are just what you need!
Let's review GEMS in papegame.
Gems can increase one of your 4 stats - health, armor, speed or attack. You apply a gem to your card before battle and your card becomes more powerful!
There are 4 rarities in Gems - common, rare, epic, legendary!
Let's think about the benefits of adding a Gem to a card.
Adding a Common Gem adds 1 to your stat. If, for example, it's a Health Gem then it adds 1 Health. If Attack, then 1 Attack. Same for Armor and Speed.
Add a Rare Gem and your stat goes up either by 3 OR by 25% of whatever it currently is! Say you have a Rare Health Gem and you add it to a card with 20 Health. The NEW Health becomes 25!
Add an Epic Gem to boost your stat by 6 OR 50% of its current value!! So if you have that card with 20 Health and you add an Epic Health Gem it goes to 30 Health!!
If you add a Legendary Gem, well then your stat goes up 12 OR it Doubles (up 100%)!!! That 20 Health card becomes a 40 Health card if you add a Legendary Health Gem, wow!!!
How many Gems can I add to a card?
Common cards can hold ONE Gem.
Rare cards can hold TWO.
Epic holds THREE.
Legendary holds FOUR!!!
How Can I Get GEMS?
You have a 25% chance of getting a free Common Gem as an extra reward on any winning battle!
OR
You can buy Gems from the Gem Market. You can also sell them there as well.
OR
You can Craft Gems!
You will need a license to Craft Gems.
Until now, you could buy only the Rare Gem License. That would allow you to combine/craft 6 Common Gems of the same Type into one Rare Gem of the same Type. So 6 Common Health Gems become One Rare Health Gem, for example.
There is a VOLT fee to Buy the License.
And we just lowered the Price!
This is the time to go get your first License so you can craft Rare Gems!
There is No Fee to Craft a Gem.
Other than the cost in Gems.
And we just lowered the Cost in Gems!
Before you needed 6 Gems to craft a higher rarity Gem.
Now it is just 4. 🤑👍💚💚💚

Start a Gem Business!
Be the brave crafts-person who obtains a License early! Craft some EPIC Gems and put them up for sale in the Gem Market. Re-invest your profits in more Common or Rare Gems and make more Epic Gems to sell!
(Or save them up for the coming Legendary Gem Crafting License!)
