On Sunday I took out my 70-200mm telephoto for a walk in the local park, and you know what? I didn't want to press the trigger even once, just didn't see a theme or scene that would attract me enough. The grass is starting to cover the ground with a green carpet (tho it's still thin), the trees already show tiny green leaves, but still stand more or less naked, haven't yet transformed into an ocean of green. It's a pleasing sight, but... I wanted something new, or at least some surprising #unstaged #street.
On the way back, I encountered a few stray cats and, of course, took a few captures, but that's not the genre I was primarily aiming for. So, for the street photography challenge I chose from previous photos; this one is not too old — the Easter ceremony of food blessing I took just a couple of weeks ago. The priest was smiling widely and shared holy water with us very generously. I had to shoot from behind the crowd, but I think I still managed to get a few good shots, especially this one. What do you think?
Вчера я выгулял в парке мой телеобъектив 70-200mm, и знаете что? я не захотел нажать на триггер ни разу, не увидел новых притягивающих меня тем. Трава начинает покрывать землю зеленым ковром (ковер пока еще тонкий), на деревьях появились маленькие зеленые листья, но голые деревья еще не превратились в океан зелени над головой, это радующая картина, но...
На обратном пути я встретил нескольких уличных кошек и конечно сделал фотографии, но ... это не тот жанр за которым я охотился в первую очередь. Поэтому для фото-челенджа уличной фотографии я залез в старую папку; не очень старую - эту фотографию с освящением пасхальной снеди я сделал пару недель назад. Батюшка был очень улыбчив и щедро поделился с прихожанами святой водой. Фотографировать пришлось из-за спин толпы, но думаю, все же у меня получилось несколько удачных кадров, особенно этот. Что вы скажете?
