After stuck with the old market style of fast buy and bid system, we can finally have an auction for Splinterlands NFT on AHONEX at https://ahonex.com/

What is AHONEX ? 🤔
What the heck is AHONEX ? It doesn't feel natural to say it's name, right ?
Well, AHONEX stand for "Auction House ONline EXchange"
So it's named by the powerfull feature that it is offered, the online auction.
What kind of NFT we can do Auction at AHONEX ? 🤔
AHONEX is a place for auction the Splinterlands assets. When I take a look at it's filter feature, players can do auction for cards, deeds, land resources, land, packs, titles, totems, totem items, totem fragments, avatar, and consumables. It's a place for auction any Splinterlands asset !
Okay Cool, But Is It Safe ? Who Is Behind AHONEX ? 🤔

What Features AHONEX Has ? 🤔
If we take a look at the site, we are shown 3 tabs at the top of the page. Browse Auctions, List Item, and Ending Soon. Let's break it down !
First, Browse Auctions.
Browse Auction is a feature where we can see all auction that is active. This is a menu for the buyer who looking for cards, or the seller that want to monitor the card's current price on the auction.
There we can see the auction current price, who is creating the auction, how many participant join the auction, and when it's end time
For more detailed information, we can simply click the cards we want to check. You can also place your bid there by simply put the number of DEC you are willing to pay and click the place bid.
Second, List Item Menu
This is a menu for sellers that want to offer their cards for the auction. There we can select the Splinterlands asset we want to put on the auction.
There is also the menu for the pricing. You can set your starting price, reserve price (minimum price you are willing to sell), buy now price (for simple and faster if you met the suitable buyer that willing to buy at that price), and duration of auction which can be set from 1 hours into 7 days !
There is also a menu for boost your offers below the pricing set menu. You can put your auction offer into the top of the search result and on the homepage. The more you boost, the higher your auction will appear.
Third, Ending Soon Menu
There, you can find the auctions that is going to finish. This is a great feature for buyers who don't want to have an early pricing war and try to shoot at the last minutes.
I'm not very sure when the cards will come to this menu, but based on my observation, out of 9 cards that come here, the last one is still live for more than 9 hours. Maybe the trigger is less than 12 hours ?
Is There Any Tax Should We Give for The Site ?
AHONEX help the players with the auction system, and it must cost a lot of operating the site. It's is normal if the dev will get paid for the service they give.
At AHONEX, there are 2 kind of payment we should give when we are creating the auction. First the listing fee which cost 250 DEC and the Sale Fee which is 5% of the selling price. So, you must keep in mind that you revenue from the auction is 95% of the final price.
How AHONEX Will Impact the Market
I personally think that AHONEX will help both buyer and seller for getting better price. For those who want to sell their card, they can get a better price by offer it with auction system. There, you might find people who actually want to buy that cards but feel the offer price is too high (or their bid just never get filled). With the auction, you can get the price that is higher than the bid but also lower than the offers price.
Things will getting interested for the black foiled that is super duper hard to get. The harder and the more valuable the cards, the less it will available on the market, and the price gap between the offers and bid are usually bigger as well. Auction system can be very usefull for these kind of cards.
And auction system is always have it's own attractiveness , with people are doing the battle of price for getting something. There must be a feeling of don't want to lose which migh pump the price more and more. I think we will witness someone get the cards with higher than the market offers price, just for keep his dignity 😂
Doing A Comparison as Example
So, many people would ask about wether the auction price is actually really lower than the offers price, and how much the difference it has.
My Example is the black foil summoners Kaylia Silverleaf. This is a new summoner from Conclave Arcana Edition.
I try to check the price at https://peakmonsters.com/market and find this card is only having 1 offer at the price of 995$ which is worth 1,065,338 DEC.
At AHONEX, the current price is at 693,000,000 DEC with Reserve Price is at 777,777,000 DEC. This mean you can actually get the cards with just 777,777,000 DEC instead of wasting more on the offers price. There is more than 250,000,000 DEC different !
You can also get the cards with "buy now price" at 808,888,000 DEC. This way, you pay a litte higher but you won't risk any losing bid from the people that want that card as well.
