Perdona si te digo Paco.
Eres familiar
en el vuelo de gorriones
que alguien mutila.
Lo sabes
por tu capacidad incorpórea,
por la brisa entre las hojas
y el perfume de su piel.
La conoces a través de tu discípulo.
Tiene un rostro
imperfectamente perfecto.
Su voz
abraza la noche como nadie,
y en la noche
riego las flores de su patio
sin que lo sepa.
Flores rojas en el frente,
orquídeas
inmensamente pequeñas
colgando como yo sobre las nubes
para besarla sin que lo sepa,
margaritas
en la dispersión
de lo que pudiera ser
un campo minado de romerillos,
pétalos blancos
y un girasol entre sus senos,
una pared,
una escalera
donde transito para no despertarla
aunque no duerme.
Perdona, Paco,
ya sabías todo esto.
Es que a veces
quiero ser un árbol
para que ella me abrace.

Forgive me if I call you Paco.
You are familiar
in the flight of sparrows that someone mutilates.
You know it through your incorporeal capacity,
through the breeze
among the leaves and the perfume of her skin.
You know her through your disciple.
She has a face imperfectly perfect.
Her voice embraces the night like no other,
and at night
I water the flowers in her patio
without her knowing.
Red flowers in front,
immensely small orchids
hanging like me above the clouds to kiss her
without her knowing,
daisies in the scattering of what could be
a minefield of rosemary,
white petals and a sunflower between her breasts,
a wall,
a staircase
where I walk so as not to wake her
even though she doesn't sleep.
