Hay ocasiones
en que deseo tener un par de tenis,
no por nada en especial
sino porque deseo
que justo los mismos tenis
sean del gusto de ambos.
Hay zapatos de mujeres
en que solo veo tus huellas.
Dime loco,
¡díganme loco!
Total,
anoche soñé estaba en tu casa,
no estabas,
me abrió la verja tu madre
y cuando percibió
los kilómetros de polvo en mis ojos
tembló todo mi cuerpo.
La lluvia
y los girasoles
no fueron sino la excusa.
Era un sueño
y aún me duele...

that very same pair

After all,
last night I dreamt I was at your house;

your mother opened the gate for me,
and when she noticed
the miles of dust in my eyes,
my whole body trembled.
The rain
and the sunflowers
were nothing but an excuse.
It was a dream,
and it still hurts...
