Un Mundial diferente pero imperdible [ES-EN]

¡Hola amantes del deporte!

Seguramente muchos acá se encuentran disfrutando de cada partido de fútbol en este Mundial independientemente del equipo al cual sean aficionados.

En mi caso, soy un ferviente seguidor de Argentina. Es el equipo que anhelo sea campeón durante la presente edición.

Pero hoy no hablaré sobre el equipo de Argentina. Vengo a invitarles a que intenten ver con calma un excelente material audiovisual que he podido disfrutar recientemente, muy a tono con el contexto deportivo que nos abraza a todos en la actualidad.

Se trata de "Brasil '70: La saga del tricampeonato". Una serie de cinco capítulos que recién se estrenó en la gran plataforma global Netflix y que me ha sorprendido gratamente.

Cada capítulo nos muestra interioridades exclusivas que rodearon a aquel antológico equipo brasileño durante la gesta del año 1970, cuando el gran Pelé les condujo a conquistar una nueva estrella mundialista.

Como psicólogo deportivo o como simple aficionado al deporte, poder descubrir tantas historias desde dentro de una selección de fútbol como la canarinha de aquellos años, todo lo que le rodeó desde su propia concepción, lo que significó su impacto en medio del contexto histórico del momento, detalles sociales, familiares, con imágenes incluso reales en blanco y negro, resultan sin dudas un deleite que agradezco haber disfrutado y les sugiero no se pierdan.

Les mencioné la perspectiva como psicólogo deportivo porque acá podemos ver, magistralmente expuesto, cuánto tienen que afrontar los atletas durante su vida deportiva. Hay un momento que deviene único y es cuando, sin hacerles spoiler, los jugadores se superan a sí mismos, se funden como grupo y afrontan una situación específica armando en colectivo la táctica a superar. Este último aspecto, a muchos jugadores de fútbol espectadores les resultará una posibilidad de aprendizaje que considero muy útil.

Respaldados por actuaciones de lujo, sin necesidad de acudir a un gran número de actores de reconocida trayectoria internacional, acá podrán apreciar estupendamente aspectos tales como el manejo de la fe, la entrega y la superstición por parte de los jugadores, aficionados e integrantes del cuerpo técnico de los equipos.

Lo complejo del instante histórico, en tiempos donde la dictadura y la lucha social se enfrentaban y donde se empleó al fútbol como herramienta disuasoria de una realidad triste, se evidencia con lujo de detalles al igual que detalles al interior del equipo que espero degusten ustedes a la par de los siguientes partidos de este gran Mundial de Fútbol.

¡Ah! Por causalidades de la vida, hoy CR7 al fin salió de su racha ausente de goles en mundiales, pero por otro lado, Messi ha empatado justo ayer el récord de partidos seguidos marcando en mundiales y uno de los que ostentaban vigente esa maravilla es justamente un brasileño, Jairzinho, y en esta serie podrán encontrar algunos de esos golazos del carioca.

Y así, con pleno disfrute y devolviendo el balón al otro lado del terreno, me despido por ahora invitándoles a comentarme sus impresiones y recordándoles que no dejen de sonreír.

I'm sure many of you are enjoying every match of this World Cup, regardless of which team you support.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Argentina. It's the team I hope will win this year's tournament.

But today I won't be talking about Argentina. I want to invite you to take a look at some excellent video I recently enjoyed, which perfectly captures the current sporting atmosphere.

As a sports psychologist or simply as a sports fan, being able to discover so many stories from within a football team like the Brazilian national team of those years, everything that surrounded it from its very conception, what its impact meant in the historical context of the time, social and family details, with even real black and white images, is undoubtedly a delight that I am grateful to have enjoyed and I suggest you don't miss it.

I mentioned the perspective of a sports psychologist because here we can see, masterfully explained, just how much athletes have to face during their sporting careers. There's a moment that becomes unique, and that's when—without giving away any spoilers—the players surpass themselves, unite as a group, and face a specific situation by collectively devising a strategy to overcome it. This last point will be a learning opportunity for many football players watching the game, which I consider very useful.

Backed by superb performances, without relying on a large number of internationally renowned actors, you'll be able to appreciate aspects such as the handling of faith, dedication, and superstition by the players, fans, and coaching staff of the teams.

The complexity of this historical moment, a time when dictatorship and social struggle clashed and where football was used as a tool to deter a harsh reality, is evident in exquisite detail, as are the inner workings of the teams, which I hope you'll enjoy as you follow the matches of this great World Cup.

Oh! By a twist of fate, today CR7 finally broke his goal drought in World Cups, but on the other hand, Messi just yesterday equaled the record for consecutive matches scoring in World Cups, and one of the players who held that record is none other than a Brazilian, Jairzinho. In this series, you'll find some of the Brazilian's spectacular goals.
