When my daughter took me to a lavender field in Spain, I truly didn't know what my eyes and nose were about to perceive. The lavender, with its light shades of purple and subtle blues and pinks, stretched beyond the horizon. Its fragrance was no longer just the pleasant, soothing scent of a perfectly clean house.
Estos campos abiertos al publico en diferente localidades en España son visitados y disfrutados por cantidad de turistas, nosotros fuimos a Brihuega (Guadalajara). Cantidad de caminantes, familias merodeaban libremente por los carriles abiertos entre planta y planta. Su aroma me resulto muy calmante. Pero claro aquí hablamos de color más que de aroma, pero son nuestros órganos sensoriales que conjuntamente forman un todo y nos traen recuerdos y momentos.

These open fields in various locations throughout Spain are visited and enjoyed by many tourists; we went to Brihuega (Guadalajara). Many walkers and families strolled freely along the paths between the plants. I found their aroma very calming. Of course, we're talking more about color than scent here, but it's our senses that work together to create a whole, bringing back memories and moments.
Descubrir que existe un helado de lavanda fue todo un acontecimiento para mi, no sabía de su existencia. El helado de lavanda es un postre floral y aromático que se elabora mezclando leche o crema con flores de lavanda secas aptas para consumo. De verdad es delicioso aunque yo seguía pensando en el aroma para la limpieza. Pues si limpia la casa que limpie mi cuerpo también.
Y aunque el color lavanda o purpura no estaba dentro de los colores que escogería en mi infancia, hoy en día puedo disfrutar de su gran belleza en tonalidades. Es como un color que me conociera en ocasiones vibrante, sobrio, creativo, lleno de expectativas por descubrir.
