I'm still laughing at today's topic or title, because I really want to write, and all I remember is the afternoon ballet classes at my school. I couldn't attend them because I couldn't afford them. It was a sacrifice and a privilege to be able to study at a private school.
When I held the alumni reunion at school, I recorded those classes because many girls from different years entered the classroom where they were taught. It was a regular fourth-grade classroom, but in the afternoon, when the desks were moved to the sides, it became the ballet room.
Some took off their shoes and lifted their feet, doing the step and reminiscing about old times. They could still do it, or at least they tried. I won't say they all succeeded; that flexibility fades a little with time.
