My two-point agenda

The dynamics of world politics cannot be overemphasized. This is because of the belief that politics is a game which is so anyways. This political game as being believed by many of us is what is playing out in the runnings of the individual nations of the world. So, what we are seeing from country to country is the game of politics which like I said earlier can be seeing in the runnings of the nation of the world and most especially, my dear nation NIGERIA.

As we all know that there's two different kind of countries in the world or let me even put it like this, there's two classes of countries in the world which are, the developed and the developing countries. People believed that the developed countries are ahead in the terms of development, unlike the developing countries which are struggling in the terms of development. Though, both are still running their counties in the game of politics, but there's always a difference in the level of development.

Like I said earlier, there's two classes of countries which are the developed and the developing countries. Let me start my discussion by saying, it's a great disappointment to find my country that used to boast of being the giant of Africa in the list of the developing countries of the world. Though, we are yet to move in from the experience and setbacks caused us by colonization and imperialism. But notwithstanding, our country has really enjoyed the blessings of God.

My country, Nigeria has really been blessed with both Natural and Mineral resources. Aside from these aforementioned resources, Nigeria has equally been blessed with human resources and that's why you see people of great innovations and charisma that are of Nigeria descent. Some of these resources has not even been tapped into in my country and even, those that has been tapped into have been mishandled and mismanaged.

Now, the question is, “why is the mismanagement of these resources?” I would say the reason for the mismanagement of this resources is because of the bad leaders leading the country. The issue of bad leadership have always been the problem of my country and this is because of their love for power, money, luxuries and most importantly their selfish nature. All these added together are what has been causing bad leadership in the country.

Now, if I should have the opportunity of becoming the leader of my country, the first two struggles of my people that I would prioritize and alleviates are,

1.replacement of bad leadership style with the good one.

2.reviving the economy through good power supply.

Like I said earlier, one thing I have got to know most especially about my country is that, bunch of the problems facing this country, Nigeria, is that of bad leadership and once that can be dealt with, I can bet it with us that every other thing will definitely and surely be settled.

So, provision of good leadership style would be the first thing I would put in place to alleviate the struggle of my people, by so doing, people would enjoy and have access to what belongs to them and the resources of the country would not be in the hand of the few individuals and their families who have hijacked the commonwealth of the nation to themselves through their selfish leadership style. So, as for me, if given the opportunity, the first thing I would do is to replace the selfish leadership style with the selfless leadership one and in so doing, an egalitarian society would be put in place and everyone would have access to our commonwealth and not only that would enjoy it as well.

Secondly and in the continuation of the first two things I would do to put an end to the struggles of my people, the next thing I would do after the provision of a good and responsive leadership style is to revive the dwindling economy of my nation. For some time now, the economy of my country has gone from bad to worse and this has left so many people and families into abject poverty which is not good at all. So. If given the opportunity, I would use my leadership style to improve the economy. This I would do by putting the right people in charge of the economy of my nation and this I would do by also making the power supply of my country a stable one which would be a driving force of my economic agenda.

So, these two things I would do to alleviate the struggles of my people and also, make life worth living for everybody. Also, I would make the society an egalitarian society.
