The joy of the motherhood

Greetings!

Being a mother is a tedious task in life, but there's always a joy of the motherhood. This assertion means no matter the task associated with being a mother, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Joy cometh after the travail of a mother. I have seen so many instances where mothers after much labor enjoy the fruit of their labor.

In one of the experiences I had sometimes ago at my place of work, a woman one after came to me to complain about her son wayward life. When I saw the woman, I was not happy at all coz of the way she looked, but what can I do? So a female teacher that was with me counselled her and even begged the son to obey his mother. So, I decided to take the matter up and since then, I used to look after the boy, telling him to always come and mark the register I opened for him in the morning, at break and when we close.

But the cord that connected the son to her mother is a strong one that the woman will not even go without visiting the school three times a week. So, this woman will always come to look after her son and at the same time come to the staff room to thank and asked how the boy is doing. Seriously, God really crowned the effort of the mother and this is because the young boy of about 14year old has been changing gradually from his former wayward life to becoming a good boy. But all these are not a day job..Thanks to the mother.

So, after a session, the young boy did his bece examination and got promoted to senior secondary school 1. The most amazing thing was that when the boy was has always carried last in his class got to the senior class, now turned to be the best student in his class just because of her mother not relenting on him. Instead of forsaking him, the mother stood by him and throughout his stay in my school and under my tutelage, the boy did well and passed both his waec and neco exam excellently well. That is the power of being a good mother. The joy of a motherhood.

Though the boy is still waiting to write his jamb examination and process his admission into the university. But one thing I'm very sure of is that this boy will surely pass and this is because of the changes that has taken place in his life and by the grace of God, I know he will do well.

Thanks to the consistent and persistent spirit of the mother, who would not leave the her son unattended to or even care for. I have been seeing mother, I have not seen her type. Now the boy is now making the mother proud, what a joy of the motherhood!
