Greetings!
Greediness is the major source of tribulations in the entire world. People most especially the rich and the wealthy are only amassing wealth for themselves and their generations without the poor around them.
This major attitude of the rich in our society is what is making the rich to be getting richer and the poor poorer according to Bro. Eli.
Aside from this, this attitude of the rich has really caused humanity to be experiencing tribulation. According to Bro. Eli, if only the richest man could donate the interest of his money to the poor, most especially the one in Africa, no one would have died of hunger.
However, their greediness would not even permit them to do such and as a result we are now experiencing tribulation.
People now cut trees without planting new ones which has really brought about tribulations to the entire world, with flood, landslides and the rest only because they want to acquire wealth for themselves.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Through the above scripture verse, Jesus Christ has made us understand that in the world, we are going to experience tribulations, but the joy of it is that he has overcome the tribulations for us.
In conclusion, in everything we should be passing through we have been made to know that tribulation is part of life that we must live with and that the greediness of men has made it live with us.
