
Today our son finally was able to make it here for a workout. It has been a while since he was able to come over. First it was the MBA program and exams that were in the way, then he pinched a nerve in his back.
So it was really nice to see him. He came over hungry, so we first fed him and watched an episode of Halo, then we went down to the first floor and did a workout in the garage.

Turns out that while he didn't come over he didn't work out at all. So he lost a lot of strength. He was only able to make three and a half reps on first set. I was able to do twelve pull ups on the first set and I am forty pounds heavier and twenty nine years older.
Same thing happened on all weight lifting excercises, his reps and weights really went down. We also tried my favorite five minute abs and core workout which I have not done in over a year. And that really revealed how much out of shape he is. I don't know how to pass on my consistency to him, we are just different...
