Today was one of those days at work when a lot of work was performed, but nothing big was accomplished. For example I presented to the team all of the recent work that was performed on Sitecore to Ubuntu migration. People were excited and asked for logins to take a closer look so I issued a few logins while I am working on Entra ID integration with Ubuntu.
I ran into an issue with incorrect app registration with the callback URL. So I could not complete that work, because I now have to wait on one of my coworkers who has access to it to correct the callback URL.

So after doing a bunch of configuration the integration is on hold until tomorrow. Also tomorrow I have a call about Sitecore 10.5 and as a technology lead and someone who is going to guide one of our principal software engineers during the upgrade, I should attend this even though the call starts at six in the morning.
Then at seven in the morning I am going to drive to Seattle and spend the day at the office. Really inefficient use of time, but that is what our top management cares about. Not what gets done, but where we are sitting on Teams calls...

Today I did manage to do a weight lifting workout in our garage gym. It was a bit too warm for me at eighty five degrees, but that is where the temperature was by the time I was done with my work today.
Crypto seems to be getting into a buy zone, it is very much beaten down and the sentiment is so negative that this is probably a good time to Dollar Cost Averaging into Bitcoin and top altcoins like Etherium and Solana.

No guarantee that they are not going lower, but it is definitely feeling like we are closer to the bottom than to the top. I think that between now and the end of the year is a great time to accumulate.
Splinterlands token SPS has had a nice little rally and is up over twenty percent in the last couple weeks. This is probably related to the recent news of DEC buyback and possibly SPS buyback. Hopefully this momentum will continue.

And if Bitcoin drops below fifty thousand I am going to shift some of my retirement account funds from money market funds to Bitcoin. As I think that we will not be dropping below that during this bear market in crypto.
Although who knows, the political environment is so unstable these days that political risk in America is becoming a major consideration. Until the situation with Iran is fully resolved the economy is going to be one bad news item away from disaster.

Today I managed to get to the ten thousand steps. Tomorrow should easily surpass this number as I am going to the Seattle office.

My day was like that yesterday as well. It was mostly meetings and random worthless crap. I get paid though, so I guess it's worth it.
Same here, but it contributes to my job satisfaction when I can actually do something useful and create/improve/fix something :)
I don't miss those meetings and conference calls! Our upper management loved useless meetings. It certainly does feel like we're near the bottom here for BTC. It was impressive that it didn't move further down during all the cold wallet chaos. A few years ago that would have meant a 20% drop—at least. I think when it finally cuts loose it's going to really run up quickly.
Not sure about quick run up, but it sure feels like we are close to the bottom in this cycle.
