There was a time when I could not help laughing while watching regional movies. The reason being their dressing and hair style. It looked funny then, but now when I imagine my own children are addicted to those trends, I have no words.
First thing I could state is their Bell Bottom pants, probably in the 70's and in the early years of 80's. Now for the past one or two years, I could see the same originating here but with a small change. The pant from top to bottom is almost stitched with same width and length, whereas in 80's, only the bottom part was widely stitched.
But let me tell you one thing for sure, it suits women more well than men. My son too purchased the same in two colours recently.
The next one was the printed shirts for men and light weight transparent big floral printed design sarees for women was in great demand in 70's and 80's. But shortly it gave way to the emergence of T-Shirts, plain shirts and striped shirt for women and sarees with plain colours and less prints were in demand. Especially, cotton stiff sarèes were in great demand.
Once again we are back to 80's with big floral print sarees and printed shirts in men. They are quite popular among the present generation, right now. Its nice to these changes.

Just after covid. On a trip to hill station. My son with his long hair
In 1980's , men had long hair. But should accept the fact, they looked great on some faces. Then came in normal simple and elegant hair cut , which made them more unique from another, followed by Army cut and so....Gradually the long hair routine returned when covid broke down, giving several warnings while going to a hair saloon.
Actually many of them out of fear for covid , never dared to go to a hair saloon.... for fear of being a victim. And once the covid was over, people accepted it as a new trend, where they preferred for a long hair rather than a short one. Now its still continuing....
Be it a person or a product, everything had a unique identity from one another, right from 70's to 2025
Thankyou for your valuable time and patience in visiting my blog, my dear friends. All these photis were captured from my Samsung Mobile and now uploaded from my photo gallery.
