I will just close my eyes and say English. Probably I had good English Teacher through my school and college days. Initially it was English.
As we grow, our tastes change and that was when I loved SUPW otherwise called as social productive work from my secondary schooling. This was an elective subject conducted every Friday afternoon. Here students can opt for any of the subject from - Sewing, Music, Drawing, games etc. and I chose Sewing.
Why I got attracted towards this subject was just for the teacher. She had a grace in whatever she does. A teacher with versatile qualities. Her elegance and her approach towards students was a known fact in our campus. A person who carried lot of patience by attending to the needs of1 each and every student.
She drapes her saree so beautifully. Each morning me and my friends wait near the school gate to check the colour. May be these qualities gave a lot of attention to her, by we students. And this was one of the main reason, we as students, took an ardent interest in her subject.
A brilliant teacher by profession. She started with embroidery showing us different kinds of stitches, needles & thread. We had a large number of students for this subject and she made it possible to attend each and every one..
I finally completed an embroidery for my table cloth and also an embroidered cover for my radio. That was in late 1980's. And this class was definitely a moment of joy with lot of interaction among students and teacher.
Then came in my craze for Accountancy while in Higher Secondary school. I loved the journal entries, tallying Balance sheet and trial balance account etc. Infact, I was scoring far beyond my teacher's expectation. I loved the subject so much that I started taking private tuitions for students in this subject.
Its better we change our favourite subjects, so that in the end we know which is the best subject.
