Do you consider your self fit / healthy?o you consider your self fit / healthy?

Regarding my health fitness Sometimes I do believe yes and sometimes I don't. May be this is what I can expect in my50's. There was a time when people never considered the importance of their health. Not because they were busy, but due to less health issues. Also, one of the main reason being, availability of chemical free food and the playground which was always occupied after school hours,

But trust me Iam a good foodie. I have no restrictions to any food in my food chart. I eat sweets & savory, salted and oil foods etc. But for any thing I have kept a benchmark A limit forcibly kept by me. Just to keep myself a little healthy.

Just few months back, I had severe pain behind my neck and shoulder and finally after several medical diagnosis, it ended with deficiency in Vitamin D. Now I started taking.Vitamin D. Consequently, Iam trying to spend the noon hours in the hot sun to retreive Natural Vitamin D.

Recently I just started a routine to keep myself fit with the hope I stick on with it Beyond physical fitness our mental health is also equally important to prolong a healthy life. Few things which I believe necessary to keep ouself fit ate -

Avoid loneliness
This is very important to avoid disturbing thoughts and make yourself pleasant. For this you need to have a good collection of friends around, to spend some leisure hours with them. Healthy talks, gatherings and discussions can broaden our mind and widen our knowledge for various related issues awaiting us.

Healthy Lifestyle
Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. Very true. The day I wakeup late, I end up being tired the whole day. Most often, I try to regularize my sleep by sleeping atleast 6 hrs. at a stretch. Eating food on time is a must, but someimes Iam late. It happens After dinner, we just go for a short walk. Here we get to meet people all along the way. Further, I love watching comedy movies and reading simple books (fiction/non fiction) of my choice.

Most often, starting my day with prayer proved to be more fruitful. I make sure to find time for it.

Healthy food
When we just go around the market, there are foods that keep us tempting, though we are aware of the fact they are junk foods. Probably I don't avoid such foods but I limit a good lot of them. And to my regular food, I add more of green veggies, fish, salads and fruits, along with rice and bread. Drinking the required amount of water is also essential. So even if at home, I carry a water bottle to ensure I drink sufficient water.
I avoid coloured foods and concentrated drinks.

Exercise
Most often I used to ignore this part. But as if now, I have become regular, probably due to the unending shoulder and neck ache. Lately, I have been experiencing positive outcome from this. Usually, I find time for these after my early morning prayer. They are just simple exercises - like breathing, stretching etc...

Highlighted are few things any normal person can do to get immense health result both physically and mentally. And this is part of my daily routine .
