“Let The Sunshine In!”😎
Silvertop finished stacking firewood early today, and grabbed his backpack…………..
As a misty rain started falling, I checked the weather app on my iPhone………
Zero percent chance of rain today, and the same for all of tomorrow!😮
Someone needs to tell the weatherman it’s raining Lol!😅
Halfway up my road, headed to the trailhead, the rain stopped!🤗
The sky became a mixed bag of sun and dark clouds!
Just look at the first few photos on my post today. You aren’t looking at the color of the leaves on the trees, you are seeing sunshine reflecting off the now barren trees on the hillside!😊
I usually hike the “High Trail” when sunset is near, or on cloudy days. Today I headed up Keith’s long Mountain driveway, headed towards Westergreens tree forest!
This trail is a favorite of the local Feline population of the forest!

It’s very narrow, very secluded, and even on sunny “late Fall” days, VERY dark!🙄
I hiked a quarter of a mile down this narrow trail, and suddenly I saw a Flash of Bright Light!😳
Keith Lol……… you got me again!🤣
You really need to be on the lookout for Keith’s game cameras, they are EVERYWHERE Lol!☺️
By now the sun was low in the sky…………
I checked my watch, it was after 4 PM……
That’s it for today’s hike, Silvertop needed to hurry to get back on the main trail before the sun went completely down!😮
I stopped in my tracks when I heard something moving through the trees!
Yep…. Time to go home, it sounds like some of the “Natives” are waking up!😳😺
