Today is “The” day my friends, the Winter solstice!😮
At 7:03 AM this morning pacific time, the Sun was the furthest south, the shortest day of the year, and officially winter began!🥶
“It’s still dark outside Honey, what time is it?”🙄
“Silvertop we don’t want to be late to Church this morning, “The Kyles” will be singing Christmas carols!”🥰
Clicking on the YouTube link on @elizabethbit post today will have you chuckling Lol!🤣
Silvertop won’t divulge any more details, but it is hilarious, definitely worth a watch!🤣
After Church this morning, Liz and Silvertop made a quick stop in town for a couple of Christmas cards at the Dollar Store…………..
If you haven’t noticed the Mrs and Silvertop are usually together, Liz will tell you we are “Glued at the hip” Lol!☺️
This makes Christmas shopping sort of difficult Lol!🙄
“OK Silvertop, I will sit in the car, and you go shopping for Christmas cards!
When you come back to the car, we will switch, and I will go Christmas shopping while “You” sit in the car Lol!”🥰
“Silvertop, did you save the receipt, when I turn them in online, I get paid!”🥰
“Liz, then you will know that I was buying Christmas cards for you Lol!”🤣😇
With only an hour of daylight left today, after we arrived back home, I hiked up to the clearcut………..
You can see the wind bending the lone tree in the third photo.
In the next several photos, you can see snow making its way lower, and lower, down the Mountain side!
“High Wind Warning, starting late tonight!”…………..🙄
Yep…. It’s already started!😮
It was almost Sundown by this time, and Silvertop was chilled!🥶
We will call that a hike, and head home to light the evening wood stove fire!😊
