Someone once asked me if I get bored hiking in the Mountains?
“Silvertop , there really isn’t anything exciting to do!”🙄
Exciting……hmmm!😇
You mean like the fifth photo……………
Where at this exact spot off to the right, Liz and Silvertop spotted a tree with the bark shredded like confetti, from the ground up six feet!😳
Someone was sharpening their claws!😺
Follow this same trail for 3/4 of a mile………
The forest becomes dark from the mature tree canopy!
On one past hike, the Mrs was hiking in the lead. Suddenly she was headed 180 degrees back towards me!😮
“GO SILVERTOP GO!”😬
“Go where Liz, what’s going on?”🙄
“It’s a BEAR, and it’s coming up the side trail, GO!”😳
I remember fumbling with the safety on my Bear spray, and by the time we were safely out of the Bears sight, I finally got the safety off!😅
That my friends was a lesson learned in preparedness Lol!😇
Nothing exciting to do…… Silvertop will take a nice quiet hike in the mountains any day!☺️
“See Liz…. all you need to do is push this slider to take the safety off the Bear spray, it’s easy!”😇
