Unless we get another round of snow in the Mountains, it looks like the โBig Spring snow meltโ has begun!
Some snow can be seen on the Canadian Mountain peaks in the third and fourth photo, but a large percentage has already melted!๐ฎ
I am sure our Canadian friend @kerrislravenhill is enjoying the warm days outside working in her garden as well!๐
Our neighbors Keith and Lynne, were out planting Western Red Cedar seedlings, and covering the tops with the yellow mesh that you can see in one of my photos.
โSilvertop the Deer just love these baby Cedar trees, if we donโt cover the tops, they will eat these trees to the ground!โ๐
Itโs amazing how quickly we went from torrential rainstorms, to dry and dusty hiking trails!๐ฎ

It was a beautiful day for sure! Too bad I was stuck indoors for all of it. The weekend is coming and then I can 'bake' in the sun-well sort of!

I did take the opportunity to be outside re-potting 10 strawberry plants, started a few tomatoes, a few Japanese squash and my 2025 tax return done. Lots more to do.

When you mentioned "cover them" in a post before, I thought a fence. Not a plastic net. is that enought o keep the deer away?
The Mrs has covered her Roses with cheers cloth and it seems to keep the deer away, but for a garden, we just put up a plastic fence 3 to 4 foot tall and it usually deters them๐๐
