There’s history behind the old logging road, turned residential neighborhood, that silvertop lives on…….😇
You can see how lush and green it is up at the top end of our road where it connects into Sumas Mountain, simply beautiful for hiking!🤗
Down lower, the road is paved now……….
Secluded homes, each with 5 forested acres or more, have replaced the old rugged gravel logging road of the past.
Even on the section that was recently logged, you can still see the mature forest on one side!😊

The Border Patrol Pilots of this very large four prop aircraft, also know about the history of Silvertop’s road!😇
I checked in with ChatGPT to see how far our old logging road is from the US Canadian border………………..
“Silvertop if you stood on your front porch, and flew straight North, you would hit the Canadian Border in 3 to 3.5 miles! Northern sections of your road are much closer, less than 2 miles from the Border!”
Secluded, and very close to the Canadian Border, that’s why this old road was known for “Hippies” and “Grow Ops”!

Now they have large expensive homes, how things have changed over the years Lol!😇

What is left are miles of gravel roads heading into the Mountains, that are just waiting for Silvertop to hike!🤗
